As a result of the 2nd round match of the “Emperor’s Cup JFA 103rd All Japan Football Championship” held on 7 June (Wednesday), Nagoya Grampus advanced to the 3rd round and will face Vegalta Sendai.

3rd Round Match Method and Win/Loss Decision
The match will be decided according to the following:
- The game shall be 90 minutes (45 minutes each half).
- If a winner is not decided within 90 minutes, following a 5-minute break, extra time will be played for 30 minutes (15 minutes each for the first and second halves).
- If the victory or defeat cannot be decided in the extra time in the preceding paragraph, the team that advances to the next round will be decided by the penalty kick method (5 players from each team, and 1 player from each team following the 6th player if the tie is not settled).
- The interval before the penalty kick system shall be approximately one minute.
- The referee decides which side will take the penalty kick formula.
