It is recalled that today, Thursday, is the funeral procession of the captain and it will be held at the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in Galatsi, at 11:30, while the burial will take place at the Second Cemetery of Athens.
The daughter of captain Ilias Koukoulari, who lost his life in the massacre of Glyfada, spoke on the ANT1 show “The Breakfast” and stressed regarding the murder of her father by the 76-year-old Egyptian: “It is tragic what happened and we cannot face My mother is in a very difficult situation.”

In response to a question regarding how her mother was informed of his death, she specifically said: “She learned regarding his death through the media. She was looking for him. My father was a man who might be dedicated to his work, but he was always answering texts or the phone, even if he was in a meeting. He always answered his phone. As for whether they will take legal action regarding the case, the captain’s daughter pointed out: “We’ll see, we don’t know that. Presumably, because this is a criminal act, I cannot express to you the intentions of the family. We never had a problem with my father’s company. He never had any problems, to put it plainly.”
Regarding what she did not have time to tell her father, she emphasized with a trembling voice and visibly moved: “Too many things… We can and do talk every day. It’s just now, even as my father lives, he’s just in another dimension. We’re talking to him, it’s just now we’ve lost what we had.”
