ABU DHABI, June 24, WAM/ Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the delegation of the Pride of the Nation Office left Abu Dhabi International Airport, heading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, in coordination with the Authority. The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, with the support of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, which adopted this initiative.
The mission includes 100 heroes of the first line of defense working during times of crises and disasters, and this initiative comes in appreciation of the efforts made by the heroes of the first line of defense to protect society.
The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in coordination with the Fakhr Al-Watan Office and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, follows up on their affairs in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the rest of the rites, and provides services that enable and assist them to perform Hajj with peace and ease.
The Fakhr al-Watan Office affirmed that this initiative, which is directed at the frontline workers, comes in appreciation of them and in recognition of their efforts and sacrifices in combating the Covid-19 epidemic. He indicated that he will continue his support for the workers in the first line of defense in line with his lofty message of coordinating the necessary support efforts for them. to maintain their stability at all times and in all future circumstances.”
