ABU DHABI, 6th September / WAM / The activities of the Art Auction, which is the first art auction of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition in its history, have been launched as part of the activities of its twentieth session.
The auction attracted participation from artists and art galleries for local and international artists from various schools and artistic trends, before five works were selected to be auctioned for five artists, provided that participation in the auction takes place only through the electronic application of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition throughout the days of the exhibition, and the announcement is made Auction results on the closing day.
The paintings, which were selected through a specialized committee, deal with topics that express the desert, the authentic heritage, hunting, its affairs and its various kinds, and these works include the painting “The Camel of the Presidency” by Sultan Saleh Al Yafei, which is the largest of the works participating in the auction, as it has a size of 150 x 240. cm, which is painted in oil colors, and the starting price is 35 thousand UAE dirhams.
The second painting, which embodies a falcon standing tall, was painted by the artist Faris Al Hammadi in oil colors, and its size is 120 x 90 cm, and its initial price is 15 thousand dirhams.
The artist, Rania Al-Baini, participates in the painting “The Fleeing Horse from the Legend”, which is made in oil colors and various materials, and its size is 120 x 100 cm, and its initial price is 32 thousand dirhams.
In addition to a painting entitled “The White Horse” by Rana Al-Massi, whose size is 90 x 60 cm, and its initial price is 10 thousand dirhams, while the fifth painting bears the title “Asala”, which is by the artist Ibtisam Abu Einan, and it is the smallest in size among the works participating in the auction, and its size is 60 x 60 cm, and the initial price is 20,000 dirhams.
