ABU DHABI, 20th March, 2020 (WAM) — The UAE has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist Houthi militia’s systematic and deliberate targeting of civilian objects and vital economic interests in a number of locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones. And the Royal Saudi Air Force from intercepting some of them, as a number of them resulted in material damage to some facilities, homes and civilian property.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE confirmed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia reflects its blatant defiance of the international community, the efforts made to end the Yemeni crisis, and its disregard for all international laws and norms, which requires a deterrent response to all that threatens the security, safety and life of civilians.
The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated actions targeting vital and civil facilities, the security of the Kingdom, energy supplies and global economic stability, and to support the measures and measures taken by the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to stop terrorist militias targeting civilian objects.
The Ministry reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of these terrorist attacks, standing with it once morest every threat to its security and stability, and supporting it in all measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The statement stressed that the security of the United Arab Emirates and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat or danger facing the Kingdom is considered by the state as a threat to its security and stability system.
