ABU DHABI, 11th February, 2020 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” received today, at Al Shati Palace, His Excellency Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Senate, “Father of the Nation” in the friendly Republic of Turkmenistan, who is on a working visit to the country.
His Highness welcomed the visit of the President of the Senate to the UAE, who presented to His Highness, at the beginning of the meeting, condolences on the death of Sheikha Maryam bint Abdullah bin Sulayem Al Falasi and her family, asking God Almighty to shower her with the mercy of His mercy and to inspire her family and relatives patience and solace.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed the close friendship between the two countries, various aspects of cooperation and joint work, and opportunities to develop it to broader horizons that serve their mutual interests, within the framework of the two countries’ common vision regarding their cooperation and priorities for achieving development and prosperity for their two friendly peoples.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Court, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.
