DUBAI, 23rd December, 2020 (WAM) — The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government concluded the tenth annual conference of the International Business Academy, Middle East and North Africa branch, which was hosted by the college at its headquarters in cooperation with the International Business Academy branch in the Middle East and North Africa, during the period from December 12-14. 2022.
The conference was launched under the slogan “Diversity, Inclusion, and Stakeholder Participation in International Business in the Middle East”, to build on the slogan of the previous session, “Sustainability of the Sustainable Agenda”, as that session sought to explore important and sustainable international business practices in the Middle East and North Africa region.
This year’s conference discussed key areas of diversity and inclusion and stakeholder engagement in the Middle East and North Africa region.
A panel discussion during the conference highlighted the insights of the editors of the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) on studies focused on the business situation in the Middle East and North Africa region. The session was moderated by Editor-in-Chief Rosalie L. Tong, Editor-in-Chief Alan Baird, and Strategy and Policy Editor for Emerging Economies (China/Asia) Zofi Ma.
The conference also discussed topics, most notably: investment decisions and sustainability in international business, small and medium-sized companies and internationalization, feminist criticism of international organizations and business, education, development and international business, and finally, sustainability and institutions in international business. The second day’s sessions also discussed metaverses and future areas in business research. international.
The opening ceremony concluded with the distribution of the “Ghaf Tree” award, which is given to leading institutions in supporting the innovation environment, and the “Barajil” award, which is presented to influential leaders in the field of sustainability.
