Emirates News Agency – The fourth Dubai World Cup Carnival race will start at Meydan next Friday, sponsored by Longines

DUBAI, 25th January, 2020 (WAM) — The Dubai World Cup Carnival announced that Longines, the Swiss watch company, will provide support and sponsorship for the fourth carnival race, which will be held at the Meydan track next Friday.
The club confirmed that the company will provide support for the race, which includes eight runs, including the main race, the Firebreak Stakes for the third category, over a mile distance, preparatory to the second category, Godolphin Mile, on the evening of the Dubai World Cup.
The evening also includes 4 grass races, including the Jumeirah Classic, with its prize of $150,000, for horses of three years and over, at a distance of 1,800 meters, which will be launched in its second edition, as well as the corresponding race for foals, the Jumeirah Phillies Classic, at a distance of 1,400 meters.
