Emirates News Agency – Suhail Al Mazrouei to “WAM”: The UAE is committed to the “OPEC +” agreement

ABU DHABI, 10th March/WAM/ His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, affirmed the UAE’s commitment to the “OPEC +” agreement and its current mechanism for adjusting monthly production.

In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, His Excellency said that the UAE believes in the value that OPEC + provides to the global oil market, as there is no agreement to increase production unilaterally outside the “OPEC +” agreement, in light of the UAE’s continuous support for the efforts of the oil alliance and its commitment to this agreement. .

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries “OPEC” had earlier appreciated the great efforts made by the UAE over the past period to maintain consensus among the members of the organization regarding all matters related to the global oil market and the support it provided to maintain its balance and stability in a manner that takes into account the interests of producers and consumers.
