ABU DHABI, 8th July, WAM/ In the context of continuing its religious, cultural and civilized role, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center is preparing to receive worshipers to perform Eid al-Adha prayers and perform the five daily prayers in its premises.
During the days of the “Eid Al-Adha”, the center welcomes its visitors from different groups and cultures, through a system of services and experiences that enhance its civilized role and reflect the values of the UAE society, as part of its efforts to provide a distinguished and renewed experience for its visitors, as one of the most prominent religious, cultural and tourist attractions in the region. .
The center enriches the experience of its visitors with its cultural tours that it presented in the mosque in line with the blessed Eid al-Adha. The content of the tours in Arabic and English included informing visitors of the meaning of the “Eid Takbeerat” that were broadcast throughout the mosque and the “Souq of the Mosque” through headphones, starting from today “Arafah Day” It continues until the fourth day of Eid al-Adha. With an explanation of the importance of Eid al-Adha for Muslims, and its connection with the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and the obligation of Hajj, and the meanings of equality, cohesion and compassion for people over their diversity of colors and cultures, and other values that enhance the role of the mosque as a platform for peace and tolerance where millions of people from all parts of the earth gather at the same time annually answering the call of their Creator.
The tours enrolled in them were briefed on the local cultural heritage represented in the customs and traditions associated with the Emirati culture during the days of Eid, such as the gathering of family and Eid and other customs related to the cultural heritage of the UAE, in addition to enriching the visitor’s knowledge of the details of Islamic architecture and arts in the mosque and the civilizational messages behind it. Each of them, in order to enhance its role in highlighting Islamic culture and its arts.
In addition to receiving a group of performers of the Eid al-Adha prayer, the center offers visitors to the mosque an exceptional experience in its premises and facilities that provide them with everything they need to spend times of comfort and pleasure, starting with their welcome and passing through the experience of the “path of tolerance” that gives the mosque’s visitors a perception of the values Tolerance that the mosque has been instilling since its establishment as an incubator for the values of tolerance in the region and the world, and the “Mosque Library” for perusal, which will allow mosque-goers to view its holdings of the rarest books and manuscripts that celebrate the richness of Islamic culture, and facilitate their transportation by electric vehicles.
As a leading center and a standard reference for cultural and tourist destinations, the center’s services have been integrated for its visitors to include the Visitor Center and the “Jami’ Market”, which provides them with an ideal experience that allows them to spend a whole day in the mosque and its facilities of different categories within more than 50 commercial units, and a group of restaurants, kiosks and outlets. Sales and entertainment areas in which diversity was taken into account, and the “Jami’ Market” opens its doors to its visitors during the Eid al-Adha holiday from 9:00 in the morning until 11:00 in the evening.
