Emirates News Agency – “Sharjah Sports Club” discusses joint cooperation with “Ajax Amsterdam”.

SHARJAH, 18th November, WAM, The Sharjah Sports Council discussed with the Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam the sports aspects related to the joint projects between the two parties that are being worked on in a way that benefits sports and the emirate’s clubs.

This came during the reception of His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, at the Council’s headquarters, a delegation from the Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam, which included Sebastian de Bruyne, Head of Human Resources, Susan Linderink, Director of Finance, Laura Van Leeuwen, Director of International Academies, and George Kazianis, the club’s representative in the Gulf region.

His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami stressed the keenness to develop and modernize the work system in Sharjah clubs, whether in terms of organization and management or the technical level of teams, coaches and players.

He said that the international experience enjoyed by such clubs shortens the path of development that the Emirate’s clubs must take to raise their standards from local to regional and international.

For its part, the Dutch club delegation praised the distinguished sports infrastructure in the emirate.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Ali Sultan Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Professionalism Committee, His Excellency Counselor Omar bin Hanifa, Chairman of the Legal Committee, members of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Saeed Ali Al Ajal, the sports expert in the Council.
