Sharjah, 7th July / WAM / The Sharjah Municipality has completed its preparations to receive the Blessed Eid Al-Adha to ensure that its services are provided according to the best standards, carry out various inspection visits to food establishments, barbershops and beauty centers, and organize intensive campaigns to monitor all distortions of public appearance and negative behaviors and take the necessary measures in this regard. Before the inspection teams that continue to work around the clock, as well as follow up the sacrifices in the Sharjah slaughterhouse to ensure their safety.
Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director-General of Sharjah Municipality, confirmed that the municipality has prepared with all its relevant departments and work teams to receive the blessed Eid Al-Adha, according to work plans that enhance the role of the municipality in providing the best services to the public, while providing a number of veterinarians at the Sharjah slaughterhouse and increasing the number of working hours to follow up on the great demand for Slaughter, indicating that the municipality will intensify its control over the livestock shipments coming from the Khaled Port port, as the municipality supervises the livestock quarry at the port and performs sterilization and disinfection when necessary to avoid any diseases.
He referred to the organization of intensive inspection tours of food preparation facilities, such as restaurants, bakeries, sweets and nuts shops, to ensure their compliance with all health controls and standards regulating the workflow, and also adherence to the preventive and precautionary measures previously announced by the municipality.
The municipality also formed another team to inspect barbershops and beauty centers to ensure their compliance with work regulations, especially since all these facilities witness a great turnout during the Eid.
The Director-General of Sharjah Municipality stated that another team of inspectors was formed to monitor any negative or distorted behaviors in the public appearance and to control the roaming butchers whom the municipality warns once morest dealing with or using them because of the danger they pose to health.
He pointed out that the inspection campaigns will include making sure that the sale and circulation of fireworks and firecrackers is prohibited because of the danger they pose to members of society, especially children, noting that the parks of Sharjah receive the public according to preventive measures and controls, as they open their doors from four in the followingnoon until ten in the evening. The public roll from nine in the morning until eleven in the middle of the night.
The municipality called on the public to communicate with it through the call center on the number 993 to report any violations or observations, as it welcomes all calls around the clock.
