The Council approved a draft law on reorganizing the Sharjah Education Council.
– The Council reviewed the annual report of the health insurance system for employees and retirees of the Government of Sharjah, in which the number of insured persons reached more than 110 thousand beneficiaries.

Sharjah, September 14 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, chaired yesterday the Executive Council meeting, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.
The meeting, which was held in the Ruler’s Office, discussed a number of topics on its agenda related to the follow-up of development projects in all cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, and working to develop government work and improve services provided to all citizens and residents of the emirate.
The Council adopted a draft law on reorganizing the Sharjah Education Council and directed the Council to complete the legislative session of the draft law following taking the observations of the members of the Council.
The Council reviewed the annual report of the health insurance system for employees and retirees of the Government of Sharjah and beneficiaries of the health care service of the University Hospital in Sharjah.
The report included the number of the insured, which amounted to more than 110 thousand beneficiaries. It also included tables of the cost of the various categories covered by the insurance system and graphic statistics for the distribution of the insured according to insurance categories and benefits.
The report also included the statistics of the groups benefiting from health care at the University Hospital, which include beneficiaries of the Social Services Department over 55 years of age, and the people of the Emirate of Sharjah over 60 years of age and people with disabilities.
