Emirates News Agency – Sharjah Charity: The association is in the process of implementing a number of projects and investing in people

Sharjah, 18th August / WAM / Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charitable Society, expressed his pride in the fact that the United Arab Emirates has been at the forefront of humanitarian aid donor countries globally for several consecutive years. Prove that the UAE is a symbol of giving and brotherhood.

On the occasion of the International Humanitarian Day, which falls on the 19th of August, he said that the Sharjah Charity Society has a share in this giving, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the support of individuals and institutions, especially media institutions in general, in delivering the Society’s message to its audience. Thanks to everyone who contributed with an idea and spread a word that supports the association and raises its charitable shares.

He explained that the association’s board of directors is looking forward during the coming period to implementing more projects that aim primarily at investing in people, enabling them to rely on themselves and move forward with steady steps on the path set by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, where new ideas were developed and a number of files were discussed. The main ones are the features of the Society’s policy during the coming period and listening to several suggestions to be collected side by side to enhance the Society’s endeavors towards upgrading charitable work in Sharjah, developing the charitable and humanitarian work system, and strengthening relations with government and private institutions and departments, while focusing on projects that touch the basic needs of people Especially poor individuals and families.
