Sharjah, September 6/WAM/ The Emirate of Sharjah has started an executive work mechanism to support the “We are with you” campaign scheduled to be organized on September 10 at the Sharjah Expo, in conjunction with many charitable organizations in the country to help collect relief packages for those affected by torrential rains and floods in Pakistan.

The Sharjah Charity Association announced that it allows volunteering to participate in the campaign through the platform of the Sharjah Volunteer Center sssd-volunteer.shj.ae and the website www.volunteers.ae before Thursday, September 8, to contribute to achieving the campaign goals by providing urgent relief packages for women and children affected by the disaster and providing all requirements Food, medicine and tents for those affected to enhance their ability to overcome the challenges they face.

The Sharjah Charity Association is looking forward to the participation of 300 to 1,000 volunteers to prepare aid packages for the relief of the flood victims in Pakistan, within the framework of the solidarity of the UAE and its people alongside the friendly Pakistani people, in various circumstances and crises.

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the Sharjah Charity Society, said that humanitarian efforts were mobilized to respond to Pakistan’s relief appeal as part of the “We are with you” campaign to provide 10,000 urgent relief packages from the Emirate of Sharjah to those affected by the disaster to complete the campaign project from various humanitarian agencies and individuals in the country, in a way that translates the values ​​of The Emirates established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul.”

He pointed to the rapid response of charitable institutions in the UAE to mobilize efforts and provide the necessary support, stressing that the Sharjah Charity Association announced early on its participation in the campaign in support of the victims of torrential rains and floods in Pakistan, which reflects the spirit of international cooperation led by the UAE through its charitable institutions in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation towards peoples relief. affected and exhausted by successive crises.

The Executive Director of the Sharjah Charitable Society called on all members of society to provide all means of support to the Republic of Pakistan in its affliction by severe floods that claimed the lives of more than 1,200 people, including more than 400 children, affected more than 33 million people, and caused severe damage to facilities and property.
