AMSTERDAM, August 21 / WAM / Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, visited the “Expo Floriad 2022” in the Netherlands, which is considered one of the important international exhibitions in the field of sustainability and is held every ten years The UAE is participating in it for the first time.
Sheikha Shamma was received during the visit by Anne-Marie Goeritsma, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands.
Sheikha Shamma toured the UAE pavilion and said that the search for a sustainable environmental future is not an acquired right of man, but rather an inevitable right of every human being and every living creature that lives on Earth. The UAE in this field and its keenness to participate in various environmental events around the world.. Expressing its pride and appreciation for the Emirati youth present at the pavilion as a bright front for the state.
She praised the UAE’s role and efforts in exploring modern technology in the field of agriculture and innovative solutions, benefiting from and employing them, and keenness to identify alternative solutions and exchange experiences with innovators and research bodies, as well as presenting their experiences in this field to ensure a better and sustainable future.
