ABU DHABI, 4th July, WAM/ HH Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of the 31st Joint Command and Staff Course at the headquarters of the Command and Staff College.
The graduation ceremony began with the national anthem of the UAE and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then Brigadier General Saeed Salmeen Al-Alawi, Commander of the Joint Command and Staff College, gave a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his presence and sponsorship of the 31st graduation ceremony, and a welcome The college was attended by their Highnesses, Excellencies, Excellencies, leaders and managers.
His Highness and the attendees watched a short video reviewing the course’s progress from its inception to the graduation stage. This was followed by the announcement of the general result of the course, and the distribution of certificates to the first graduates and graduates of brotherly and friendly countries. Then, His Highness took a group photo with the graduates.
The honoring ceremony was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant-General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Matar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense and a number of senior officers of the Ministry and the Armed Forces.
In his speech at the ceremony, Brigadier General Saeed Salmeen Al-Alawi, commander of the Joint Command and Staff College, said that a blessed day for the homeland and its leadership has been renewed every year for thirty-one years, in the interest of our leadership in our armed forces, represented by the Ministry of Defense, to graduate one regiment after another, providing leaders and units with competencies From leaders and staff bodies, to assume high leadership positions, and today they are in the first row of leadership and the college is proud of them year after year.
He stressed that the young United Arab Emirates, with evidence and proof, has taken firm steps towards excellence and leadership during the past fifty years, and looks optimistically towards the next fifty years with a clear and well-thought-out vision and strategy after another whose essence is human building, and draws the most wonderful and most beautiful images of cohesion between the people and their leadership.
He added that our peace-loving and tolerance-loving nation was founded and built by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and was led and empowered by the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, who was a father to his people. His era and today the country is led by an inspiring leader loyal to his people and his country, an exceptional leader surrounded by loyal men who set the finest examples in achieving a clear vision, carefully drawn goals, and comprehensive plans towards a promising future.
He stressed that the blessings of God are many and countless, and said: “The blessing of the leadership in the UAE, by the grace of God, is the secret of the well-being, security, safety, progress and prosperity we enjoy, and always to glory, O homeland.” Referring to the saying of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan: “Great people do not leave.” We say yes, sir. “Their traces will remain immortal, illuminating the present and building a bright future.”
He explained that the College of Command and Staff today is reaping the fruits of effort and a solid foundation that has been preserved by the efforts of the former and current leaders and members of the steering committee and under the guidance of the College’s Supreme Council, which is headed by His Excellency the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for seventeen years, who has spared no effort in order to The college will be better than its counterparts in the world with a curriculum, practice, methods and methods of learning.. In addition to its keenness on the smallest details to ensure the best outputs from leaders and staff, armed with science and knowledge in leadership methods at the tactical and operational levels, and we will not be satisfied except with excellence.
He said: “The course students and their colleagues from brotherly and friendly countries applied with high professionalism during the course, which lasted forty-seven weeks continuously, within the framework of an integrated curriculum. The materials and courses rich in knowledge, science and practical applications related to military doctrine, strategic theories, and studies in history. The military and political geography, in addition to the mobilization and joint concepts, toured most of the country’s regions with its deserts, mountains and coasts, and studied and analyzed its urban areas, and deduced the best ways to confront external and internal threats so that our emirates would remain a safe and stable homeland, by land, sea and air.
He pointed out that the mission and vision of the college are fixed in the foundations and changing methods year after year. Without the joint efforts and the support of the Supreme Council of the College and the leaders and leaders who provided all assistance to the college, its mission would not have been achieved. The college also received the largest share of support from ministries and state bodies, whether in the presence of their representatives as lecturers Visitors, or whom we were honored to visit during the internal corner tour, thanking and appreciating everyone for their support.
Brigadier General Saeed Salmeen Al-Alawi addressed the graduates, saying: “You are an exceptional generation, and you are now under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.” You received knowledge and skills in the course, which is the beginning of the path and that you are the leaders of the future, and you will be stronger with your devotion to your country and leadership.
