ABU DHABI, 12th February / WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Football Association, and His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Jazira Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Gianni Infantino, President of the International Football Association, were crowned.. Chelsea Football Club in the FIFA Club World Cup “UAE 2021”, following its victory over Palmeiras, Brazil, 1/2 during the meeting that was held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the capital, Abu Dhabi.
The winners were also attended by Roman Abramovich, president of Chelsea FC, Laila Pereira, president of the Brazilian club Palmeiras, and Khaled Murtaga, treasurer of Al Ahly Club of Egypt and head of the team’s mission in Abu Dhabi.
The silver medals were awarded to the Palmeiras team following it won second place, and Al-Ahly of Egypt the bronze medal following its victory over Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the match to determine the third and fourth places, which was held at Al Nahyan Stadium earlier today “Saturday”.
