The tournament has witnessed a great demand for registration in recent days, as 550 male and female players from 85 countries have so far applied to participate in it, including 9 Arab countries, which are the Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iraq, Algeria and Djibouti, and the door for participation remains open until Friday evening. next.
Our team had held a series of physical and technical training in Bulgaria and Belgium in preparation for the Paris Championship, where its list includes Maitha Al Neyadi in the under-52 kg competitions, Batsu Altan in the under-57 kg competitions, Joram Aram in the under-66 kg weight, and Tilal Shavili in the weight category. Under 81 kg, Gregory Aram in under 90 kg, Dhofar Kosov in under 100 kg, in addition to coach Victor, the mission is headed by Nasser Al Tamimi, Secretary General of the Federation and Treasurer of the International Judo Federation.
The delegation – which is currently in Belgium – received a phone call yesterday from His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al-Derei, President of the Judo Federation, asking them to focus during the next stage, whether in camps or tournaments, especially as it is the right way to participate positively in the 2024 Paris Olympics, indicating that the UAE Judo Championship will participate.
