ABU DHABI, 19 August / WAM / The Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has confirmed that the celebration of the World Humanitarian Day, which falls on August 19 of each year and bears the slogan “One Hand Cannot Clap” for the current year 2022, is an opportunity to promote the values of love, tolerance, giving and human brotherhood.
The Foundation stated that humanitarian work in the UAE has become an authentic approach and behavior purely for the UAE and its honorable people, following the approach of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and in line with the directions of the wise leadership.
In this context, the Foundation implemented the “One Community, Hand in Hand” initiative, with the participation of people of determination and Al Wahda Club Academy youth under the age of 13 in Al Shahama area, by distributing juices and water to workers in some construction areas in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of the humanitarian mission and community integration for people of determination. Which is carried out by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination on the premise that humanity is an integral part of the customs, traditions and ethics of the various segments of the UAE society, and basically it is part of the morals urged by all the heavenly religions. .
The Zayed Higher Organization considers humanitarian work to be one of the broadest areas in which people can work, as it achieves humanity among groups of society, and includes a number of areas, for example, providing support and assistance to the poor and the needy, and building a cohesive society through the creation of voluntary teams in society.
As for the Al Wahda Sports Club Academy, humanitarian work is a civilized method and the duty of every human being. It has been urged by all heavenly religions and social norms. The participation of Al Wahda Football Academy players in this initiative comes to achieve social goals from support and promotion of initiatives to integrate people of determination and their community participation, To accustom and educate young people to compassion, to strengthen brotherhood, and to establish the values of humanity among the members of society, and the great importance of humanitarian work for its contribution to helping those who face difficulties and critical conditions in meeting the requirements of life.
