DUBAI, 9th February, 2020 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, received today (Thursday) His Excellency Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, at Zabeel Palace in Dubai.
His Highness welcomed the visit of His Excellency Muhammad Shayaa Al-Sudani to the UAE, at the outset of the meeting, during which they reviewed bilateral relations, and ways to enhance them in various fields, in a way that benefits the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The discussion touched on the future of bilateral cooperation and what is hoped for in a number of vital sectors, especially in terms of trade exchange, economic and investment cooperation, in a way that keeps pace with the development aspirations of both sides and contributes to advancing development efforts within various tracks with the aim of consolidating further elements of progress and prosperity for the two brotherly peoples.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on a number of issues of common concern and the overall situation at the regional and global levels was reviewed.
