Fujairah, August 11 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of research and environmental projects in the field of natural reserves, pointing to the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to invest the best technologies and strategies to develop environmental work. In the Emirate of Fujairah in line with the state’s vision in this important field.
This came when His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, received, in his office at the Emiri Diwan, the President of the Wadi Al-Wurayah National Reserve, Dr. Ali Al-Hamoudi, in the presence of His Excellency Asila Al-Mualla, Director of the Environment Agency in Fujairah.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on a number of existing environmental studies in the reserve, and a proposal on future partnerships with relevant authorities in the public and private sectors. And the environmental projects it is working on within its strategic plans.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Environment Agency in Fujairah and the Wadi Wurayah National Reserve team towards preserving and developing the environment and its living resources, which contributes to achieving environmental balance and raising community awareness towards the environment.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
