Emirates News Agency – Mansour bin Zayed approves the 2022-2023 season program for capacity in Al Wathba

ABU DHABI, 29th August / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, and President of the Emirates International Endurance Village has approved the village’s race program for the new season 2022-2023, which includes a set of races of different categories.

The Cup of His Highness the President of the State, “may God protect him”, will be held in the new season on February 12, 2023, at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba.

The first races of the new season will start at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba, with the National Day Cup for a distance of 120 km, in conjunction with the country’s celebrations of the National Day, where the race will be held on November 27.

The Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Cup race for owners of private stables for women will be held on December 3 for a distance of 100 km, while the Sheikha Fatima bint Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup race for women will start on February 18, 2023, for a distance of 100 km, and on the second day the Sheikh Cup race will be held Mohammed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for private stables for a distance of 100 km.

The Sheikh Zayed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup for Private Stables will be held for a distance of 100 km, on March 17th.

The races hosted by the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba include the Abu Dhabi Festival, which begins with the women’s 100 km race, which will be held on March 18, followed by the 120 km Abu Dhabi Open Festival race on the second day at the end of the racing season in the village.

Musallam Al Ameri, Director General of the Emirates International Endurance Village, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his unlimited support for heritage races.

He expressed his happiness and the village’s work team for organizing and hosting the new season’s races, which consist of different races for jockeys, riders and private stables.

He said: “According to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the team is fully prepared to make every effort to host a unique new season.” Stable owners, jockeys, jockeys and trainers, to participate in all races.

He pointed out that the work team in the village set out to develop organizational and logistical scenarios to provide the highest levels of comfort for the participants and followers of the races in the village.
