Emirates News Agency – Japanese stocks rose for the fourth session to their highest level in 5 weeks

TOKYO, January 25 / WAM / Japanese stock indices rose at the end of today’s trading, to continue the rise for the fourth consecutive session, achieving its highest level in 5 weeks.
The Nikkei index on the Tokyo Stock Exchange increased by 0.35 percent, equivalent to 95.8 points, to close at 27,395.01 points.
The broader Topix index rose by 0.39 percent, equivalent to 7.77 points, to close at 1980.69 points.
