DUBAI, 9th August / WAM / The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai received a zakat of one million dirhams from “IFCO” during their visit to the department, in order to spend it on those who are entitled to zakat according to legitimate banks and in support of charitable and humanitarian projects and projects that it establishes.
The visiting delegation, which included Abdul Ghani Abdullah, General Manager of IFFCO, received Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the charitable work sector in the department.
Ahmed Al-Muhairi said that these collected amounts of Zakat from companies and individuals will be distributed to the eligible groups according to their legitimate banks, and then according to the regulations and systems followed in the department.. He thanked the officials in “IFCO” for their contribution, which reflects the officials’ sense of the importance of these charitable works and their understanding of the necessity Supporting charitable and humanitarian work.
