DUBAI, May 20 / WAM / Hamid Muhammad bin Salem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Chamber of Commerce in the UAE, discussed with Counselor Saif bin Abdullah Al-Turki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Chamber of Commerce – Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation participating in the Tenth International Arbitration Conference for the Middle East and North Africa region, which was organized by the Chamber International Trade The Emirates, in cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, Dubai, recently, the relations of cooperation between the two chambers, and ways to strengthen and develop them, especially at the level of the private sector, and the role that it can play in promoting mutual investments and stimulating trade exchange and raising it to higher global levels.

They also discussed – in the presence of Hassan Al Hashemi, Secretary General of the Emirates International Chamber – the possibility of holding conferences, meetings and joint events between the two chambers, especially in the field of international arbitration, logistics, trade and investment.

Bin Salem stressed that the International Chamber – Emirates has been able, over the past few years, to solve all challenges of an international commercial nature through mediation or international arbitration in the Middle East and North Africa region, influencing business-related policies, as well as developing rules and guides for the practice of international trade, As well as holding training courses in coordination with specialized committees composed of experts in various fields of business.

On the other hand, Hamid bin Salem stressed the readiness of the International Chamber – UAE to provide all its expertise and experiences through its affiliated committees, especially banks and finance for the Syrian International Chamber of Commerce. Holding conferences and workshops, in person or by default, between the two sides, with the aim of shedding light on the experience of the UAE banking and financial sector locally, regionally and globally.
