DUBAI, 21 December, WAM/ The Innovation Center of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority provides its visitors with the opportunity to take innovative tours around the center, watch pioneering shows using drones and hologram technology, and test many interactive experiences, including the experience of self-driving electric buses and other innovative technologies.
Relying on metaverse technology, the center within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai allows its visitors to test a unique experience that takes visitors on a virtual journey throughout the complex.
With the aim of spreading the culture of innovation among institutions and individuals and highlighting the sectors that will lead the innovation process in the future, in addition to developing the capabilities of the next generation of innovators, the Innovation Center provides visitors with the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in the field of clean energy technologies, starting with the exhibition area on the first floor that highlights Highlighting DEWA’s march, in addition to the most prominent historical inventions and innovations in the field of electricity and the latest developments in the field of renewable and sustainable energy.
The display area includes more than 35 interactive displays to introduce visitors to renewable energy developments, in addition to the Authority’s museum and water desalination plants, an optical area that explains the characteristics of light and solar radiation, an exhibition of the development of solar energy technologies, the basic components of photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic and concentrated solar energy technologies, and the solar tower. The development of renewable energy in the authority, smart DEWA, applications of solar cells in spacecraft and satellites, as well as the development of sustainable buildings in the authority. The center also includes a café and souvenir shop.
