Cairo, September 25 / WAM / Egypt said that its exports of natural and liquefied gas increased more than 13 times, recording $8 billion for the fiscal year 2021-2022, compared to $600 million for the fiscal year 2013-2014.
A report issued by the Media Center of the Egyptian Cabinet stated that the increase in the amount of natural and liquefied gas exports amounted to regarding four times, as it recorded 7.2 million tons for the fiscal year 2021-2022, compared to 1.9 million tons for the fiscal year 2013-2014.
According to the report, natural gas production in Egypt jumped to 69.2 billion cubic meters in the 2021-2022 fiscal year, compared to 41.6 billion cubic meters for the 2015-2016 fiscal year, an increase of 66.3%.
