Dubai, September 3, WAM / Ducab Metals – a provider of copper and aluminum solutions in the region – participates in the Cable Exhibition in the Middle East and Africa 2023, which was held on the sidelines of the thirteenth Middle East and North Africa Steel, Metal Fabrication and Metal Works Exhibition in Cairo. The participation of “Ducab Metals” in the exhibition aims to highlight its successes, as the metal business recorded over the past year more than 23% in general commercial growth on an annual basis, and for its qualitative products and innovative solutions for copper and aluminum. Mohamed Al-Mutawa, CEO of Ducab Group, said that the participation of Ducab Metals in the Cable Exhibition in the Middle East and Africa 2023 comes as an extension of the close investment relations between our company and Egypt, as Africa is considered one of the most important and largest markets for us to import and export copper and aluminum products with a volume of trading up to 3 billion dirhams annually, and it enjoys promising investment opportunities, which is in line with our strategies to enhance our business and products that bear the slogan “Made in the Emirates” and export 75% of them to more than 55 markets around the world, which contributes to increasing the percentage of the industrial sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product. From 133 billion dirhams to 300 billion dirhams by 2031, in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology “Project 300 Billion”.
For his part, Mohammed Al-Ahmadi, CEO of Ducab Metals, affirmed that participation in the exhibition falls under the umbrella of consolidating the well-established bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt and supporting the manufacturing sector for both countries, while examining new and innovative horizons for investment and economic and commercial cooperation in order to achieve the aspirations of sustainable development, pointing out that This participation is a unique opportunity to review the products developed by the company with high quality standards.
He pointed out that “Ducab Metals” will display during the exhibition days its technological, industrial and technical capabilities in production processes, innovative copper and aluminum solutions and its products that are used in the manufacture of aluminum rods, copper and aluminum rods and connectors, and the manufacture of electrical wires, cables, high-voltage lines and overhead conductors, as it produces 50 thousand tons of aluminum and 180,000 tons of copper annually.
