Emirates News Agency – Dubai Otology Conference and Exhibition kicks off October 25

DUBAI, 12th September / WAM / The activities of the tenth edition of the Dubai Conference and Exhibition for Ear Diseases, Surgery and Neurology will start next October 25 at the Dubai World Trade Center, with the participation of more than 700 experts, doctors and specialists in ear diseases from the region and the world.

The three-day conference, which is the most prominent otorhinolaryngology and skull event in the Middle East, highlights a number of the most prominent topics related to ear and head and neck disorders and the best and latest medical research and advanced treatments in the field.

This scientific event is supported by the Ministry of Health and Prevention and many medical associations and institutions from different countries of the world and gives participants CME points by attending various seminars.

The tenth session will witness 60 scientific sessions with the participation of 45 speakers, in addition to a number of specialized workshops. While the exhibition accompanying the conference provides an opportunity for attendees to develop sustainable partnerships and communication between specialists in light of the presence of more than 30 brands from more than 20 countries around the world.

Dr. Mohammed Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Dubai Conference on Otology and Neurosurgery, explained that this specialized event provides a distinguished scientific platform for discussing and treating related diseases and the most prominent modern treatment methods, noting that this year the conference is witnessing a significant growth compared to previous years in terms of size and number of doctors, specialists, residents and international exhibitors. This contributes to strengthening Dubai’s position in the sector of organizing events, conferences and exhibitions, especially events specialized in health care.

He pointed out that among the most important sessions included in the conference program is a session on the latest developments in vestibular medical examinations, visual vertigo, and vestibular rehabilitation.

For his part, Dr. Tristram Lesser, Professor and Consultant of Otolaryngology Surgery, said that otolaryngology is the basis of advanced surgery, and technology today plays a major role in improving the lives of a large number of people affected by hearing problems.
