Emirates News Agency – Davos Forum completes preparations to receive 2,500 economic influencers

ABU DHABI, 19 May / WAM / The World Economic Forum “Davos” expects that regarding 2,500 state leaders, senior officials and experts in economic affairs will attend the activities of its next session, during the period from 22 to 26 May, to discuss the current challenges the world is witnessing and anticipate future solutions. , confirming the completion of his preparations to receive the attendance of the forum.

In its report issued yesterday, the forum revealed the expected attendance statistics, which include 50 heads of state and government, 300 high-level representatives of governments, in addition to 100 global innovators and leaders in the field of technology and emerging and medium companies in the business sectors.

The report referred to the invitation of 200 leaders of organizations, non-profit associations, social entrepreneurs and academia, in addition to 400 people from media leaders around the world, in addition to members of the most prominent young global leaders.

Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and CEO of “Davos”, stated that the world will meet in Davos to work towards facing the issues the world faces, especially with the repercussions resulting from crises at the present time, noting that Davos will address government policies and business strategies, especially with Important geopolitical and economic developments, and following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Davos Forum issued a program of sessions accompanying its work, which will address global cooperation, economic rebalancing, global health, climate issues, food security, industrial transformation, innovation and governance, in addition to cybersecurity.
