Berlin, February 26, WAM/ Bayern Munich regained its victories in the German Football League, by defeating Union Berlin 3-0 today, Sunday, at the end of the 22nd round of the competition, which also saw Freiburg draw with Bayer Leverkusen 1-1.
Bayern topped the competition table again after losing it yesterday to Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern raised its lead to 46 points, with a goal difference only against Dortmund, and Union Berlin’s balance froze at 43 points in third place.
Bayern won the match completely in its first half, with three goals scored by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Kingsley Koeman and Jamal Musiala, so that the team quickly regained its balance after defeat in the last match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Today, Union Berlin suffered its first defeat in the matches it played in various tournaments since the resumption of the current season’s competitions in Germany on January 20.
