BERLIN, 5th August / WAM / Bayern Munich began the journey to defend its title in the German Football League with a big 6-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt today, Friday, in the first match of the competition in the new season 2022/2022.

Bayern, who monopolized the title in the past ten consecutive seasons, won its first 3 points in the competition this season, and its new Senegalese striker, Sadio Mane, launched his scoring tally in the competition.

Mane moved to Bayern this summer from Liverpool to compensate the Bavarian team for the departure of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

Bayern decided the match significantly in the first half through five clean goals scored by Joshua Kimmich, Benjamin Pavard, Sadio Mane, Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry.

In the second half, Eintracht Frankfurt scored its only goal through Randall Kolo Mwani, and Bayern responded with the sixth goal through Musila.
