Barcelona, 13th August / WAM/ Barcelona opened its new season in the Spanish Football League with a goalless draw with its Alex Reed Rayo Vallecano today, Saturday, in the first round of the competition.
Barcelona lost two points at home at the beginning of the search for a return to the local title, although its coach, Xavi Hernandez, pushed 3 of the players who were signed by the club this summer into the starting lineup for the team.
The Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, the Brazilian Rafinha and the Danish Andreas Christiansen, who joined the team this summer, were included in the starting lineup.
Despite this, the team failed to beat its Alex Reed, and Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets was sent off at the end of the match for receiving a second warning in the match.
