DUBAI, 12th October, 2020 (WAM) — The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Bahrain revealed, during its participation in GITEX 2022, which is currently being held at the Dubai World Trade Center, the building permit system “Banayat”, which is concerned with issuing building permits for all projects – investment, residential, industrial and commercial -.
The system allows licensed engineering offices to submit applications for building permits and obtain consulting services from all government agencies, through the interactive map feature of the Kingdom.
The project aims to reduce the time for issuing building-related approvals and licenses, facilitate the application process for government services related to construction, transfer the role of government agencies from operational to supervisory, unify the requirements between the four municipalities and service agencies, and establish an effective mechanism for monitoring performance and generalizing the requirements.
