DUBAI, 10th August / WAM / The Al Jalila Center for Child Culture of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture” organized, within the activities of its program for the summer of 2022, awareness activities in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Dubai, with the aim of spreading awareness among young people regarding various emergencies and how to deal in ways It ensures their safety as part of its keenness to educate youngsters on basic life skills.
The activities included three workshops that were presented on the center’s stage, the first was held on July 19, the second was on July 27 and the third was on August 9, in the presence of 118 children of different ages who learned regarding the nature of the work of firefighters and rescuers, and listened to fire safety instructions and how to act in cases Home fires such as contacting the Civil Defense at 997 to report the fire and get help, ways to get out of the fire, priority of self-rescue, as well as how to reduce the aggravation of the fire.
It is worth noting that the activities and events of the Al Jalila Summer Program began on the fourth of this July and will continue until August 26, in cooperation with its partners “Read”, “Project You” and the “Musical Arts Center”, providing young people and young people with a variety of cultural, artistic and recreational activities aimed at Develop children’s creative talents, and unleash their imaginations, within four age groups: 4-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-11 years, 12-16 years.
