DUBAI, 22nd March / WAM / H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, at the headquarters of Expo 2020 Dubai.
During the meeting, they discussed regional issues and developments on the regional and international arenas, in addition to ways to enhance the process of joint Gulf action within the framework of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
The two sides also reviewed the outcomes of the council’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, and the role of the council’s pavilion at Expo in shedding light on the historical legacy of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the foundations on which it was built, and the plans and projects that have been worked on in various fields, in addition to its aspirations and future projects.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Excellency Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, stressing the important role of the Council in light of the common challenges facing the Arab Gulf states, as well as strengthening the strategic and brotherly Gulf relations for a prosperous and sustainable future for our peoples.
