Emirates News Agency – A delegation of students from the UAE University visits the University of Navarra in Spain

MADRID, July 27 / WAM / A delegation of United Arab Emirates University students from different academic disciplines visited the Spanish University of Navarra, as part of the activation of the agreement between the two universities and the summer training program for university students that lasts for a week.

Prof. Dr. Aisha Salem Al Dhaheri, Associate Deputy for Student Affairs, said that this visit comes within the framework of the joint cooperation between the UAE University and the Spanish University of Navarra, with the aim of enhancing the role of the arts and upgrading the arts center at the university, and to activate the cooperation and partnership agreement to exchange experiences, knowledge and training between the two parties, where the University of Navarra is one of the Distinguished academic institutions in Spain, which have many and distinguished contributions to the academic, cultural and personal development of the gifted.

12 male and female students from different academic disciplines participated in the delegation, as part of the summer training program, where they were selected according to high academic standards, in addition to their artistic talents and their ability to present distinguished works characterized by creativity and innovation. They are distinguished students in participating in extra-curricular activities. Their work was featured in the opening event of the Unity Arts Center.

The delegation visited the University Museum, which plays an important role in informing and educating the university community, and takes an interdisciplinary approach to art, and aims to promote participation and cooperation with the schools and departments of the University of Navarre and other centers.

The summer training program for the visit also included an intensive course for beginners in the Spanish language, learning regarding archaeological museums, the history of the city of Pamplona, ​​its different cultures, its ancient monuments since the past centuries and ways to preserve them, in addition to participating in training workshops in a number of university faculties and departments.
