Fujairah, 7 July / WAM / The Fujairah Charitable Society has completed its preparations for the implementation of the “Sacrifice” campaign, in addition to distributing Eid clothes and fruit baskets to needy families and orphans registered on the association’s lists, in cooperation and coordination with government agencies, institutions and the association’s strategic partners in the emirate.
His Excellency Yousef Al-Marshoudi, Director-General of the Fujairah Charitable Society, said that the association, in cooperation with the slaughterhouses administration in Fujairah Municipality, will slaughter, transport and distribute sacrificial meat, in line with preventive and precautionary measures, noting that this year’s campaign aims to distribute sacrificial meat to 3,000 families, with 1,500 sacrifices inside and outside. He explained that the value of the sacrifice is 500 dirhams inside the country, and 400 dirhams abroad, noting that the association and to facilitate the donors provide its representatives in more than 25 locations in various regions of Fujairah, in addition to identifying five slaughterhouses for slaughtering sacrifices in the emirate / Fujairah – Masafi – profitable. Dibba-Al Bidiyah/ Cork boxes with ice were also allocated to preserve the sacrifice and deliver it refrigerated to its beneficiaries according to food safety procedures.
Al-Marshoudi said that the association is also implementing the Eid clothing project, and the number of beneficiaries from it is 242 orphans.
Al-Marshudi added that the association will distribute 300 fruit baskets to needy families on Eid al-Adha and Eid clothing to 242 orphans registered in the association’s lists, in an effort to bring joy and happiness to their hearts, and to provide their needs before Eid al-Adha.
