SHARJAH, 1st March / WAM / The volume of sales in the Jubail Market in its two branches in Jubail and Souq Al Hamriya during the year 2022 .. reached more than 7,190 tons of local and imported fish and seafood, in light of great abundance and variety.
The fish section of the Jubail market, one of the projects of the Sharjah Asset Management Company, the investment arm of the Sharjah government, revealed that it received nearly 3.1 million visitors due to the variety of fish it provides that meet the different tastes of shoppers and merchants from inside and outside the emirate.
Ahmed Al-Mushrekh, Executive Director of the Hospitality Sector at Sharjah Asset Management Company, said: “Since the opening of Jubail fish in the Jubail market, it has become one of the most prominent and important attractions in the market and is witnessing a remarkable turnout by visitors due to the variety of options it provides of the finest types of fish. Local, live, fresh and imported, which meet the tastes of shoppers according to the highest standards of hygiene and quality, in addition to the availability of the latest international safety systems.” He explained that “Jubail Fish” contains several facilities, including 40 shops selling fish and seafood, and employs advanced technologies.
