Emirates News Agency – 2.9 billion dirhams of Dubai real estate transactions today

DUBAI, 5th July / WAM / The value of real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than 2.9 billion dirhams.

The department witnessed the registration of 403 sales worth 1.57 billion dirhams, including 81 sales of land, worth 701.56 million dirhams, and 322 sales of apartments and villas, worth 872.12 million dirhams.

The most important land sales worth 303 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 182 million dirhams in the Business Bay area, followed by a 10 million dirhams pledge in the first Me’aisem area.

Al Habiya Fifth District topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 40 pledges worth 84 million dirhams, followed by Jebel Ali First area with 11 pledges of 29 million dirhams, and Al Yafra 2 with 8 pledges worth 8 million dirhams.

With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 136 million dirhams in the Al Bateen area came, followed by a pledge of 30 million dirhams in the Al Barsha South of the Fourth area, and finally a pledge of 25 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area.

And the Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, as it recorded 45 pledges of allegiance to a value of 83 million dirhams, followed by the Fifth Al Thanya area with 32 pledges of 31 million dirhams, and the third in Umm Suqeim, with 32 pledges of 70 million dirhams.

Mortgages amounted to 1.29 billion dirhams, including 24 mortgages of land, worth 209.64 million dirhams, and 79 mortgages of villas and apartments, worth 1.08 billion dirhams.

As for donations, 14 donations worth 80.44 million dirhams were registered, the most important of which were in the Island 2 area with a value of 60 million dirhams and another in the Burj Khalifa area with a value of 12 million dirhams.
