Abu Dhabi, October 13 / WAM / The competitions of the second week of the 12th edition of the Emirates Longines Show Jumping League will begin tomorrow, Saturday, at the Boudheib Equestrian Academy, in the Al Khatm area, under the supervision of the Emirates Equestrian Federation, the sponsorship of Longines, and the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The competitions include 10 rounds, most of which are of two-stage specifications, in which male and female knights affiliated with equestrian clubs and centers in the Emirates compete, and the total financial prizes reach 250 thousand dirhams.
Competitions are held on two fields: The first (main) is for competitions whose tracks are designed with hurdles with a height of 120 cm and up to 140 cm, while competitions designated for young jumping horses aged (4 to 5) years, and riders from the cubs and beginners categories, are held on the floor of the second field, with the specifications of one round, and designed Its paths have barriers ranging in height from 80 to 115 cm.
