Abu Dhabi, September 15 / WAM / The Emirates Judo Federation will launch its new sports season 2023-2024 tomorrow morning, by holding the Federation Cup for Judo for cubs, juniors and men in the Sharjah Sports Club Hall (Al Hazana Branch) in cooperation between the Emirates Judo Federation and the Sharjah Sports Council.
The tournament witnesses the participation of 245 players, 110 in the junior category, 80 in the junior competition, and 55 players in the men’s category, all from Al-Nasr, Sharjah Sports Club, Sharjah Self-Defense Club, Kalba Federation, Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and Olympic, Tenda and Kima Academies.
The tournament’s organizing committee, headed by Mohammed Jassim, Assistant Secretary-General, has completed all arrangements for its launch, and the team’s technical staff will be keen to attend to follow up on the talent produced by the competitions to support the national teams, as the UAE prepares to host the Arab Championship for national teams for male and female youth, and young men and women, and the Arab Club Championship for different age groups in the emirate. Fujairah during the period from 16 to 20 November.
