RAPPER from America, Eminem, is confirmed to make a comeback with his latest album entitled The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) this summer. Eminem revealed this by uploading a video on his Instagram social media account on Friday (26/4).
Quoted from People, this will be Eminem’s 12th album, as well as his first album in 4 years. He last released the album Music To Be Murdered By side A and Side B in 2020.
“The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). Summer 2024,” wrote Eminem in his upload.
As is known, the title of the new album refers to the rapper’s alter ego, which has been part of the rapper’s personality since his EP Slim Shady in 1997 and LP The Slim Shady in 1999.
In the uploaded video, the video begins with a fictional crime reporter announcing the death of Eminem’s alter ego, ‘Slim Shady’.
“Through his complicated, oft-criticized and tongue-twisting rhymes, the blond anti-hero known as Slim Shady had no shortage of enemies,” the reporter said.

Then, rapper 50 Cent, who is Eminem’s colleague, appears in the video and says, “He’s not a friend, he’s a psychopath.”
The clip then returned to the reporter, who added, “The same harsh lyrics and controversial antics may have ultimately led to his death. “Join me as we recreate the events that led to Slim Shady’s murder,” said the reporter.
