La primera dama de Türkiye, Emine Erdogan (wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan), sent a video message to International Congress of Traditional and Complementary Medicine of India (GETAT), an event organized by the World Health Organization.
“It is obvious that it is a great enlightenment to stop perceiving the healing accumulation of humanity as a last resort to be resorted to only when modern medicine is exhausted. I believe that it is a divine mission to transfer the natural recipes of thousands of years as a legacy that experienced the test of time to future generations.
Emine Erdogan stated that every civilization has a deep-rooted experience and success story related to therapy.
“It is easy to find the lost cure in the same climate and the natural products that come out of the earth, just as the diseases are typical of that geography. Therefore, listening to the local sages and applying their prescriptions can shorten the search for healing. For this reason, I wholeheartedly believe that the International Congress of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, which aims to benefit from the experience of different cultures, will be beneficial.”
