Emin Ozkara, municipal councilor in Schaerbeek and Brussels MP of Turkish origin, left the PS in January 2020, following a period of conflict with certain socialist elected officials.
Since then, he has sat in the assembly as an independent. With our colleagues from Free, he explains the reasons for this change: “My choice fell on Défi because I share its values and convictions. In 2019, the politician achieved a feat in the elections, making the tenth highest socialist score with 4,385 votes.
