Emile Bravo transforms Spirou and Fantasio into real war heroes. And it works

Spirou is not the child of a designer touched by his muse, but of a publisher concerned with Belgian values. Jean Dupuis, from Marcinelle, near Charleroi, prints novels and reviews such as Good Evenings, to the attention of mothers, and The mosquito for Mr. Saddened that the children’s press was imported from France, he decided to launch a magazine for young people which defended patriotic, humanist and educational values.
