Emergency vehicles go up in flames in front of the police station

On Thursday morning around 3 a.m., two police vehicles burned on Hans-Schiftan-Strasse corner Rollbergstrasse in Berlin-Neukölln.

A Mercedes Sprinter and a Mercedes Vito were ablaze, police officers had tried to put out the fire with fire extinguishers, but this was no longer possible. In addition, two motorcycles were badly damaged by the intense heat.

The fire brigade was on site with 18 firefighters and quickly had the fire under control. Police investigators secured clues at the scene.

According to initial findings, the police assume arson.
