Emergency Response at Haute École de la Province de Liège: Air Conditioning Issues Lead to Student Discomfort

2023-12-05 10:56:11

The white plan which mobilizes the emergency services of the City of Liège was triggered this morning at the Haute École de la Province de Liège, on the Kurth campus, for student discomfort.

Around twenty students complained of headaches and discomfort while they were in class. The premises were evacuated.
No students were transferred to the hospital.

This wave of discomfort is believed to be due to an air conditioning problem, freon poisoning but which is now under control. Students were able to collect their personal belongings from classes. Classes are suspended until tomorrow.
