In Sharjah, a 400 kg woman was shifted from the fifth floor to the hospital for emergency medical care. A 48-year-old Emerati woman was brought to the hospital in a special vehicle at night. The woman was taken to the hospital by professional teams including Sharjah Fire Brigade, National Ambulance, Sharjah Police Ambulance and Dubai Ambulance.
The family sought the help of Sharjah Civil Defense when they needed urgent medical attention due to heart and respiratory problems. The National Ambulance Service immediately reached the flat but might not extricate the woman due to her weight. With this, the help of other groups including Sharjah Fire Brigade was sought. The fire brigade, the National Ambulance Team and the Sharjah Ambulance Team brought the 400 kg woman down with the help of special equipment.
It took two hours to reach down from the fifth floor with the young woman. The woman was taken to the hospital in a Dubai Ambulance vehicle specially designed to carry heavy objects. They are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Umm al-Khain.
